We would like to collate your Coxhoe Covid Memories

Please support us to create a Coxhoe Covid Collage

What a strange time for us all now!!!  Never since WW2 have we faced such adversity, but we have tried our best to keep ourselves and others smiling, safe and well. There has certainly never be another year like this in our lifetime – and we hope there will never be another like it again!!

We would like you to help future generations know what we are experiencing now.

We applied and were successful in our application for funding from East Durham Rural corridor AAP to create and display Coxhoe 2020 Collage in the Village Hall for years to come which will include the thoughts and images of the hope, worry, love and laughter we shared during the Coronavirus outbreak.

How can you help?

We would like you to share with us your thoughts and/or journey of 2020 and during this surreal time.
It could be a few words, a poem, or a drawing or a picture – anything that you think would be relevant for others to see in years to come. It could be about your personal experience, what kept you going, what you missed, who you missed, what’s it like in the ‘new’ normal, how you missed the Village Hall activities, what your hopes for the future are, how you felt going to the shops, or asking others to do things for you – anything that reflects your experience!  Submissions should be made at A5 size and certainly no bigger than A4.
We would like you to put your name (and age if you wish) to your piece so that future generations know who contributed, although if you’d rather not then that is fine.
We can collect your finished article, or you can drop it through the letterbox at the Village Hall anytime (it is situated on the side of the building opposite the Car Park).  If you prefer that we collect it from you then just give us a ring at the Village Hall on 0191 377 0344 and leave your name and phone number or email admin@coxhoevillagehall.comand we’ll get back to yoto arrange to come and collect
We’d love you to help us put the Collage together too, so please get in touch if you think this is something you’d like to be involved in .

Thank you in advance for your help with this project.  We kindly ask that any contributions be submitted to us on or before Friday 16th October 2020
