Calling all Businesses: Help us save lives

defibThe Village Hall Association are working in partnership with Coxhoe Parish Council to purchase a defibrillator for use in each of our  villages. We are seeking support from every business owner in Coxhoe and Quarrington Hill to help fund the purchase of two community defibrillators. The idea is that of Nicola Dodsworth, Secretary of the Village Hall Association. We need to raise £4000 and we are asking local businesses to pledge their support by 31st April 2017. Business owners can pledge any amount to support. The  money will buy two defibrillators each with a heated external box. This would allow quick access in an emergency to important treatment which could save lives. We are also hoping to seek further funding to ensure that all businesses receive annual training to use the defibrillators effectively.

Chair of Coxhoe Parish Council, Councillor Stuart Dunn, said, ‘This is a fantastic idea by Nicola and we are delighted to help the cause. We hope that local businesses can get  behind the scheme and support it financially. By buying the equipment and providing training we just might save the life of one of our valued community members’.

Please give generously and help to save a life.
