Last night a crowd of our Beavers and Cubs supported by helpers and parents took place in a litter pick in the village as part of the Durham Big Spring Clean and the Keep Coxhoe Clean Campaign.

They were joined by a separate litter pick by adult volunteers from Coxhoe Community Partnership which included Coxhoe Parish Councillors and members of the local walking group.The litter picking concentrated on the main thoroughfare, the greens and Coxhoe Park. Around 40 bags of rubbish were collected.

A big well done from the Village Hall Association to our brilliant Beavers and Cubs and everyone who also took part to make Coxhoe a better place. Thanks also go to Durham County Council for the loan of litter picking equipment.
