New Coxhoe Quilters Club in Village Hall

Are you an experienced patchwork quilter?

Could you share your expertise with others?

Would you like to try this compulsive craft?

Then why not come along to Coxhoe Quilters. From 1st October we meet in Coxhoe Village Hall on the first and third Thursday each month from 1pm until 3pm. Come along and join our self – help group, have a cuppa, a natter and make new friends. Our first meeting will be taking place on 1st October in the Main Hall. Meetings are mainly DIY sessions where members bring along their own current projects but this should not dissuade complete beginners as the more experienced members are more than willing to share their knowledge and skills with others. Activities involve most aspects of patchwork and quilting such as English paper piercing, machine patchwork, Applique and Quilting by hand and machine. members are expected to bring along their own equipment including needles, scissors, sewing cotton and pins but the group have made an application for funding to purchase some more specialised items such as rotary cutters, cutting boards and quilters’rulers.
